Acquisition and Integration Link (SAIL)
VisionOnline provided technical services in support of the development and deployment of the Systems Acquisition and Integration Link (SAIL) Program. Tasked with the challenge to access multiple, diverse and functionally unique databases and applications, NAVSEA program management chose the
VisionOnline team to provide a dynamic solution. In support of NAVSEA PMS 400G,
VisionOnline analyzed existing application systems and databases, developed recommendations and ultimately reengineered the existing dispersed and heterogeneous systems into a central source. In addition, the project involved the integration of diverse database structures and the development of an interactive website to facilitate information dissemination. The end solution proved to be highly successful by producing greater efficiencies, improved workflow and cost savings throughout the entire program.

Web-Based Telecommunications Management System
Tele-management System
VisionOnline designed and developed a web-based telecommunications management system (ITTS) for the District of Columbia’s Office of Chief Technology Officer (OCTO). The District of Columbia had little oversight on its telecommunications infrastructure and assets due to multiple, diverse, and not readily accessible data sources.
VisionOnline modified and customized the COTS software as well as designing and building various interfaces that will enable the extraction of data from diverse heterogeneous data sources into a single repository. The integrated systems greatly increased the government’s oversight of their telecommunication infrastructure, improved asset management and budget forecasting and increased fraud detection. All aspects of the new system significantly improved efficiency and reduced cost.

Online Legislative Information System (LIMS)
VisionOnline
designed the interfaces and
migration strategy to implement the
Online Legislative Information System (LIMS).
During the design and development
of the Online LIMS system, the baseline
internal system (also described as the
Legislative Information Management
System) realized enhanced functionality
and achieved greater operational
efficiencies.
The system delivered more timely
information to both the citizens and
government of the District of Columbia.
Ultimately, it helped make the
government more accessible and
responsive to the citizens of the
District.
